The 2022 Tasmanian Festival of Bridge was held 24-27 March 2022 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Launceston. This year the program consisted of four competitions - the TBIB Australian Swiss Pairs, the Australian Mixed Swiss Pairs, the Roger Penny Senior Swiss Pairs and the TFoB Restricted Swiss Pairs. The Warren Walker Memorial trophy was also awarded to the highest place Tasmanian team in the TBIB Australian Swiss Pairs. The detailed results for all of the competitions are available here.
Winners of the TBIB Australian Swiss Pairs were Maurits Van Der Vlugt and Dagmar Neumann. Second placed were Paul Gosney and Tony Leibowitz. Third placed were Terry Strong and Jill Magee. The Warren Walker Memorial trophy for the highest placed Tasmanian team in the TBIB Australian Swiss Pairs was won by Frank Milford and Martin George.
Winners of the Australian Mixed Swiss Pairs were Kitty Muntz and Leigh Gold. Second placed were Avril Zets and Axel Johannsson. Third placed were Cathryn Herden and Matthew Thomson.
Winners of the Roger Penny Senior Swiss Pairs were Ian Robinson and Neil Ewart. Second placed were Andrew Mill and Simon Hinge. Third placed were Phil Gue and Nigel Rosendorff.
Winners of the TFoB Restricted Swiss Pairs were Matthew Tiplady and Rodney Macey. Second placed were Bob Ranson and Frank Milford. Third placed were Eugene Pereira and Rex Meadowcroft.
